“I can't say enough about the staff. The were very friendly and helpful. The property itself was fairly new and well maintained. The stay includes a reasonably nice breakfast and access to an assortment of snacks and libations in the evening. This is a great property to use as a base for day trips (by car) to sites in Normandy. We used it to visit D-Day historical sites as well as to visit beautiful Mont-Sant-Michel. While the town of Caen is worth a visit, it does require one to drive for a……

“This is a very comfortable hotel. We stayed a second time as a couple, to use as a base to visit WW2 sites. Ideal. The staff are very welcoming. Great breakfast available, evening meal if requested. Bar. Near the sea with several restaurants near by, check opening times out of season. Highly recommended.”

“We were on a bit of a road trip in France and had decided to spend a couple of days in Normandy after coming off the ferry. Easy to find and well located for the WW2 historical sites in the area. The hotel is lovely and the hosts could not be more accommodating (e.g. we got an early checkin). The breakfasts were excellent and we had an evening meal there as well - again excellent. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with a separate toilet.”
