This resort is great for families as it has it`s own private water parks. You’ll love my place because of the unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and the central location. My place is great for families with kids, large groups, reunions and business travelers.



This is a 3 BR/2 BA unit with a king bed in the master and 2 queen beds in each of the other 2 bedrooms. We have a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, WIFI and a Flat Screen TVs in each bedroom/living room and a private balcony.

About the condo:

This is 1282 sq ft 3 bedroom/2 bathroom 8th floor condo located in the most desirable area of the north side of Myrtle Beach and sleeps up to 12 people comfortably. This condo offers a custom decorated Tommy Bahama decor, a granite countered full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, free wireless internet, a flat screen TV in every room with a DVD player and an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. Linens & towel are provided with this rental. Enjoy a great view of the Ocean from your master bedroom and the living area in this angled ocean view property. The resort is ideally situated in the exclusive north-end residential section of Myrtle Beach known as `The Golden Mile`, which adds to the level of luxury associated with your stay at the Dunes Village Resort. Our condominium features three bedrooms. The first is a master bedroom with a private bath and a king size bed. The other two bedrooms feature 2 queen-size beds in each with access to the second bathroom. The living area has a flat screen TV with a DVD player, dinning room and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a washer/dryer in the unit and free WIFI.



Enjoy stunning oceanfront views from your private balcony. Take advantage of unlimited access to Dunes Village Resort`s large indoor heated water park that includes a 250 ft Lazy River, three Jacuzzi hot tubs, two adult-size Water Slides, a children`s pool and a game room with pool tables and other games. The Resort offers a fully equipped exercise room, a full-service restaurant that includes a lunch and dinner menu, pool bar and food service and Seattle`s Best breakfast/coffee facility.



About the resort:

The Resort is located on the beach at 5300 N Ocean Blvd and considered to be one of the best resorts in Myrtle Beach. And the location is perfect--you’re just far enough from downtown so that you can enjoy some peace and quiet on the beach while still being close enough to all the major attractions. You’re only a 10-minute drive from downtown and 10-15 minutes from everything else in Myrtle Beach. There’s also plenty to do right by the resort or just a short walk over on Kings Highway/Business 17. The amenities in the resort are great too. There`s a great gym and a game room plus 2 indoor water parks with tons of things to do as well as 6 outdoor pools, kiddie pools and SPAs, a 170’ Lazy River and a basketball court.



About the area:

There are many fun-filled family activities within a short distance from the condo. The Family Kingdom, a family theme park is only a short walk away. There’s also Ripley’s Aquarium featuring thousands of sea creatures. There are also miniature golf courses, shops, water parks, mini-race tracks and eateries all at your doorsteps. There are shows playing at the Carolina Opry Theater, The Legend, and Broadway at the Beach.



Myrtle Beach is a golf haven with over a 100 golf courses to choose from, all within a short drive from the condo. There are many restaurants and shops to fit every taste. We’re certain that you’ll enjoy your stay in this beautiful 3 bedroom oceanfront condo.

Myrtle Beach Family weekend

You could use some minor cosmetic, touchups such as caulking around the tubs However the unit is clean with lots of room and the indoor waterpark is a treat for the kids and adults as they each have multiple hot tubs. Communication with the host was excellent. We would stay here again.

Great Place on the Beach!

We love the Dunes property! This is our 3rd time coming back to this resort, and it’s a hit with our kids and family every year. This was our first time in this unit - it didn’t disappoint! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. We had a couple of small issues come up during our stay, but the property manager was very responsive and was able to help us get everything fixed up quickly.

Wonderful!

This was our first time at Myrtle Beach, which was also a hurricane week. The condo itself was spacious and clean however there were a couple issues (large piece of carpet pulled up in balcony, towel holder pulled out of wall, dishwasher didnt work at all). We contacted the property owners and they had someone their immediately to fix what needed, without any issue. They were a pleasure to rent from and we definitely would again in the future. If you are debating renting this condo, do urself a favor and do it! You won't be sorry.

Great vacation

We had a great time. This condo was the perfect place for my family and I to enjoy time together. Great pools and access to the beach. Also really close to broadway at the beach, the boardwalk and barefoot landing. All in all a great experience.

Nice Condo, great water choices

We stayed here for a week on a family vacation and it was great. The location is good and the water park choices for the kids were great to have on bad weather days. I would recommend staying here.

Great place to stay, if you get bored it is your on fault. Alot of things to do there....Grandchildren had so much fun at the waterparks...loved the slides. The condo was plenty big for 12 people.

Everything about this condo was perfect. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to make meals. The water park was great for the kids. They were exhausted every single night! GREAT PROPERTY AND EXPERIENCE - COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!

This place is fantastic. Plenty of room and everything you need for a great vacation. My kids absolutely loved the water park and everything was exactly as described. Might become an annual trip for one week a year with my family. The location is perfect, the beach is prefect and the resort is fantastic. Also, the location and proximity to everything is amazing ! Was very nice. Restaurant was not good. Lazy river inside was very cloudy. Room was great for family. We had 4adults and 4 children (2yr, 3yr, 9yr and 12yr). The babies love the slides and lazy river. The older boys loved the waves at the beach. A fun trip.

Just okay

Check in process is long and stressful. Very packed. Barely any luggage carriers. Had to wait and grab a cart when we were lucky. Right when we got to room the 2 lights wouldn't work. Noticed a huge scratch on tv. Toilet seat grossly discolored. Noticed couple tiles in bathroom loose/broken. I did message about scratch on tv and the lights issue. Also an issue with fridge drawer being broken. A guy had to come out couple times to fix the issue with the lights. Then in the evening I noticed the tv in the rooms didn't really work well. The network wasn't working with them. One tv stand in bedroom was broken so very wobbly. A DVD player in living room didn't work at all, would not open. At this point whatever was wrong we would just deal with bc I'm not caring at this point in our vacation. Again noticed a leaking pipe under the sink. They had something underneath so they knew about it leaking. The jacuzzi tub did work perfectly. So my daughters really enjoyed that. We had issue with a cabana we rented with the tv not working; must be an entire resort issue. Our disabled father watches tv so that's why we got the cabana. So that was disappointing. We were sad that there was no mini golf on property. They were painting and doing other things so that wasn't available. The water parks were great no issue. Again leaving on check out day, issue finding a luggage cart... it was just okay. Definitely shouldn't be so much issues in the room so hopefully next person can have no issues

Family Fun

Location was great. 15 min. from airport & most attractions & restaurants. Master bedroom was large with king bed & the master bathroom was a good size. 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds & an adjoining door to 2nd bathroom. 3rd bedroom has 2 double beds. Shared the master bath with us. The condo is a decent size for a family with children. Not very good size if it was to accommodate 10 adults. Kitchen is small if you are a family that wants to prepare meals while on vacation. We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo everyday & prepared dinner 3 nights. The table sets 6. The living room has a sofa and 2 chairs. Not a very large arear for all adults. The balcony has a nice sideview of the ocean. Nice to sit out on for coffee or drinks but not large enough for meals. The Dunes has a great beach area and waterpark. Which is why we pick this resort. We rented a cabana by the pool for 2 days because of the small children. It comes with 2 lounge chairs & large cooler with ice. You can bring your own drinks and food to the pool area. Next time I will rent one for the whole stay. The cost was $75 a day & well worth the money to have shade. Small gift shop on 2nd floor with necessities of you run out. Prices were very reasonable. The parking garage is across the street from the condo. We would rent this condo again.

Great location but unit needs some work.

Overall our family enjoyed the stay. The kids loved the beach and the indoor water park. I have 3 boys from age 17 to 3. They also enjoyed using the pool tables and ping pong. The location is very convenient to most places you would want to visit in Myrtle. There were kids toys and a couple of chairs in the unit so we didn't have to bring or buy any. The unit itself was big enough and accommodated our family nice. The carpets are overdue for a good cleaning. Your feet feel dirty if you walk barefoot in the unit. The television situation was a little frustrating as well. One of the units did't work at all and the unit in the master bedroom had a remote that wouldn't power on or off. The master bath had a broken stopper for the shower. We had to use something to prop the stopper open or water would fill the tub during your shower. The master bedroom mattress was not comfortable at all to us. Parking was across the street and a little inconvenient to get in and out of with a large vehicle. Overall I give the unit a 3 star just because I expected more for my money.
