Airport (EWR) to Luqa (MLA) 9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,000 reviews) Superior Double Room, with Terrace, 5th floor, facing the street. The walls are not soundproof, but quiet enough. Mainly plumbing noise carried between our room (504) and those next door. Not a problem for sleeping hours though. Breakfasts were great, as was the location in Valetta, directly opposite the French Consulate on a quiet 1-way street near the centre. The TV has working HDMI inputs for a computer connection (bring your own cable), and the WiFi was fast and reliable. UK style outlets, not European. But two table lamps in the room had European plugs, and their respective outlets appear to have been slightly modified to accept them. So we used those receptacles to plug in our own (euro) stuff.
