What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home. The continental breakfasts were yummy and different - croissants with scrambled eggs and bacon and we even got home made flapjacks!!! Our suites were so luxurious and well appointed, with secure garden parking that our business trip felt like we were on holiday. Thank you so much and given the chance we will be back again.

Our room needed an immediate repair as the A/C was broken. That took an hour. But the way the toilet is set up in the bedroom with glass walls and door was awful. There's no privacy! My wife and I had to take turns waiting in the lobby area to give the other person some "me time" - it's far from ideal. Why do hotels think we want this?
