“It was okay for an overnight stop”

“The Sportslander is just what I expected, an older motel that had all the basics covered. The room was older style, clean and on the end of a 10 day straight run of over 40 deg temps the pool and aircon did the job, the bed was comfy, there was no noise and had a good night sleep. For a budget one night stay, it did the job very well. ”

“When we booked this place we were expecting from the description on expedia a hotel in a resort with all the facilities described. Unfortunately for us it was a suburban 2 bed unit nothing like the description. The property needs maintenance and a good clean. Some lights not working blinds were disgusting tiny bathroom cobwebs everywhere and many crawling insects. Unable to get local tv stations. Extremely disappointed for the money we paid. “Ex motel. Bed comfortable, plenty of bright lights. Hot water very hot. Big shower with a non- slip mat for in the shower. Clean. Didn’t use air conditioner. Bedside lights easy to turn on (touch light). ”

“Home away from home, everything you need except a microwave but managed without. The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. Walking distance to the golf club, meals, pokies, keno and more. No need to go anywhere else if you just want to relax ”

“right on the highway, and every truck or car that went by appeared to be in the room, either from the noise or vibration. no soundproofing which kept us awake all night.”

“The overal set up & facillities are not really desirable, bit dirty, especially the cup(with coffee marking) the blaket look dirty...Facillities are very cheap. Hot water and cold water tap are not well controllable. ”

“This is a late 70’s early 80’s style motor inn that will surprise you with the cleanliness of the rooms and the close location to the centre of Echuca. A short 2km walk and you are in town, there nice cafes closer than that and the staff are helpful. Represents great value for money”
