Located on a private and beautifully landscaped property close to town and beaches. The property has beautiful european oak hardwood floors throughout and custom cabinetry and wood work done by the owner, central air, high speed internet and cable. The floor plan is an open kitchen and living room with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and bedroom 2 Has a full and a twin over full bunk bed. Clean, easy, quiet, spacious. The place was exactly as pictured on the listing and the hostess was so easy to work with! You do have to realize it's a basement apt so there is no outdoor seating, etc... (there is a grill though) but we were at the beach and eating out most nights so it was perfect for us! Made for great access to downtown, south shore beaches and west of the island towards Madaket. The property was very clean and cozy, which was wonderful to come back to everyday after long days of either bike riding or going to the beach. We are a fan of Elin Hilderbrands books so we wanted to come check out Nantucket for ourselves. If we ever are lucky enough to come back we for sure will be staying here again. Amazing hosts, the basement/apartment is clean and super cute. 2 bedroom w plenty of beds and the beds are really comfortable. One thing to mention if you do want to do cooking, there was no stove but it did have a Weber grill, a hot plate and a microwave. This is a great unit that is within a couple miles of town. If weather cooperates you could get by without a car by using bikes and taxis. It was a bit more out of town than we originally thought but they developed a great friendship with a taxi driver and he was at their beck and call! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! They were both available to answer all my questions. The listing is beautiful and exactly how the pictures depict. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. Location is less than 2 miles from town so would recommend a car but we had a few In our party Uber with do difficulty. Would recommend this property for anyone looking to visit Nantucket. David also has another smaller property on island which I am guessing is just as nice.
