A nice place in the heart of Naples, close to the Centro storico. Rooms well maintained and nice breakfast was offered as your own request. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely use this hotel again.

The property was conveniently located to public transportation hubs. It was also walkable to historic sites like castles, churches, and tour meetup points. The room was clean and fresh. I will make note that our check-in was confusing, though we reported our arrival time several days before. Our train came into the station after their 3:00 pm regular check-in schedule, it was never communicated that this would be an issue. This property, though completely financially comparable to all of our other stays in our month long travels, was the only one where we needed to pay extra for breakfast, water, and whatever else was in the full fridge. We didn’t let this dampen our Naples experience. Later, we did reviewed the listing and noticed the requirement for extra payments per day for breakfast. We learned our lesson and won’t be choosing any other properties requiring funds for amenities- at this price point. This may seem trivial, though we appreciated them cleaning our room, cups for tea weren’t replaced so we couldn’t make any tea for relaxing late in the evening. Sometimes the small things make all the difference.

We had a lovely one night stay at Relais del Principe before our flight home. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. We were notified in advance that the front desk is not manned 24/7, but you are given a key to access the outside door, unit door and your room door. We had no issues with this process and all of our messages before and during our stay were answered promptly. A breakfast is provided, but we left too early to try it. The hotel is near the train station and the neighborhood is a bit rough.
