It was grossly inadequate and not fresh and we felt like the owners were penny pinching. Plus we had to eat the same breakfast for 3 days. Also, the booking indicated a welcome gift … we never got any? The beautiful living area that is advertised was not anywhere that was accessible to our room, the breakfast list was long but actually very bare bone, but the worst part was the treatment of the owner and staff. From being persuaded to purchase overpriced tours to surprise fees at checkout, to being demanded to leave the room one hour before my confirmation had listed. They own a beautiful hotel in a lovely part of town and make your time there amazing. I wish we had stayed longer, we will definitely return when we can. The room was spotless, breakfast contained delicious home made cakes (Paolo's Buttons are divine!) and their restaurant recommendations were perfect! It is definitely worth checking in before making any plans in Naples because they will know and make recommendations based on your needs! We stayed in the suite, which wound up being much more room than we needed - the separate room with whirlpool didn't get visited, and the living room (with its own TV) was used mostly to store jackets and bags. That said, it's a beautiful room. The inn features art throughout (by one of the owners?) related to Pompeii, including a diorama in the room. The house itself is beautifully maintained, with a comforting routine each day: at sunrise, the main door is opened for the rest of the day, bringing fresh air and sunlight. The breakfast felt extra special; we don't stay at B&Bs often, but the amount of care and attention here was lovely. This was our first time in Napoli, and I'm glad we stayed in this neighborhood - you get a flavor of tthe Napoli intensity without the full on craziness.
