Great!

The Art Plaza hotel is in a great location. The major sites in Sofia are within walking distance of the hotel. And others, such as Vitosha Street and the Culture Palace are mere minutes away. On top of that, there is a subway station a 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff were excellent. They were helpful, professional, and friendly. The room was clean and spacious and had everything I needed. And lastly, the Art Plaza Hotel had a nice buffet breakfast with a large assortment of foods to eat and drink. I would definitely stay at the Art Plaza Hotel again and I strongly recommend this hotel.

Magical location, really romantic and serene. We stayed at the castle which was a great and unique experience. We had a little issue with the toilet seat and the room was a bit small but I guess this was part of the charm of the place. Staff were really nice and friendly especially the somellier, yet some of them were very young and clearly needed some additional training. However, breakfast was nice and wine and rakish were divine. Place has so much charm and is really really unique.

The hotel is situated in the mountains. We travelled here by the vintage narrow mountain train and arrived at a derelict train station. I contacted the hotel who kindly organised a taxi collection for us. The hotel is clean and the room was really nice and the bed is comfortable. I like the fact the hotel provide a bowl of fresh fruit in the room. The hot spring pools were lovely and great they stay open until 8pm. The restaurant food was really nice and also reasonably priced. The breakfast offered was excellent with a great selection of food. Room for improvement - perhaps offer flip-flops instead of slippers in rooms for the pool. The slippers got soaking wet! My friend is not overly large but the dressing gown did not fit her. She had to ask for a larger size which she found very embarrassing. Perhaps provide larger gowns as you really need a gown that covers you when you come out of the water as it’s cold outside.
