The pictures don’t do it justice. The furniture and cabinets were a bit worn, but the room was clean and comfortable. Reception took care of a couple of small issues I did have. Like most places I would have enjoyed a few more pay Premium channels. The property was clean and tidy. The pool could use some attention. The restaurant and new bar were excellent. The staff was very friendly and kind. Very relaxing place to go and enjoy time in the province. The food we ordered for dinner was delicious especially the grilled fish. The big problem is that because of this it’s very popular and the restaurant is critically understaffed. As for the rooms, they are ok; the aircon is very noisy and not powerful enough for the room size. I booked two rooms but at check-in they insisted that I only had one until eventually they found the second booking. Initially I was given the wrong room (twin beds instead of a queen bed). The property also advertises a ‘pool’ but it was badly maintained and looked unclean. Housekeeping kept our room clean, the in house restaurant was handy for something small or an actual meal. Staff was great.
