"This was right by the buses for tours so this was a great hotel. Food in the lower floor was great. We ordered the fish and chips. Best meal we had in Iceland. We took a cab to the Perlan Expo because it was the only thing opened after 5. Cab driver was very informative and the Perlan place was great. We loved the Northern Light show and the ice cave. (I brought my 15 yr. old grandson). We reserved tours thru Viator to do the Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon and Northern Lights. That was a GREAT tour. Picked us up right outside the hotel. 2 tours in one. The hotel staff was wonderful. Our rooms were fine, beds comfortable. Perfect hotel."

The restaurant was excellent with local cuisine and specialty items cooked by natural thermal steam. A hot tub and pool were a nice feature. The location would be ideal to view the northern lights but we did not get to see them due to cloud cover."
