"I consider it risky to venture away from the known chain hotels, but I struck gold with this one! This was a very unique stay. It resembles a motel but doors do open to an interior hall full of antiques. We were greeted by chickens as we came out in the morning. Beds are very comfy, with soft, fuzzy blankets like home. Rooms were spotless and staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is no breakfast, but fridge in the room and access to a microwave. Rooms are decorated with the type of wood they are named after. Very comfy, welcoming, homey feel."

"Parking was easy and close to the front entrance. Front desk still had Covid protocol in place (clear barriers) on Front Desk. Room was clean Restaurant was a joke!"

"Godfrey and I had a wonderful time at the Postcard Cabins. The solitude allowed for a much needed reboot. Life can be stressful and the quiet atmosphere was just st what we needed. "

"We were very pleased with the rental! It was very, very clean inside and had everything we needed (although all the windows needed a good cleaning). We really enjoyed using the pickleball court! The pool was not open for the season yet so I can’t comment on that. A few suggestions, shelves in the showers to hold shampoo etc., replace the dining room chairs (one of them especially was very unsturdy and the legs visibly bowed when someone sat on it. We placed it against the wall and didn’t use it anymore.) Also suggest adding a railing on the opposite wall of the stairs going up to the second floor and have the railing go all the way up. We also enjoyed the pool table and I was able to watch the NHL playoff games on the big screen! The swing at the front of the house was a nice surprise! Loved the location. Very quiet and rural but very close to shopping etc. (and our family member who lives in town). Communication with property manager was great and we were able to check in early and checkout late to coincide with travel plans. We definitely will choose to stay here again when we’re in town.
