nice property
The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside.

great location & good value with proper expectations
This is one of the closest places to stay to Ash Cave, and is convenient to the other areas of the park as well. It is a funky building-- the owner has recently redone the walls in very nice wood, and has a new, very nice LVP floor. That gives it a clean feel. Big improvements from last time I stayed. The heat is easy to adjust up and down, new, small fridge. Those are the pluses. Downside: there is no silverware-- one bent fork. I went to dollar store & bought 4-- left them there along with 2 wine glasses. I just like wine in a glass-- and there are only mugs and two very large plastic cups there. Also, curtain in largest window of bedroom does not cover the window. It's on a tension rod-- so you can move it down do at least the light comes in at the top. It doesn't get light that early, but still... There are no coat hooks or towel bars/racks-- but perhaps that is just because the owners are in the process of updating. They do have wi-fi, but it was sporadic when I was there-- so don't count on it. No cell service for T-Mobile there. So be prepared to have hit-or-miss service. Do NOT count on connectivity or you will be disappointed. Places in Hocking Hills are very expensive-- this is still affordable. I appreciate that, so I did not want to be too hard on it.

A cozy and welcoming cottage close to Hocking Hills State Park
Cookie Cottage was perfect for our vacation to Hocking Hills State Park. The cottage was clean, easy check in/checkout and felt very welcoming.

Cute as a button.
Cute as can be solid little cottage, plenty of heat, it snowed while we were there. I have allergies and this place was clean so I could be very comfortable and relax! Super location as well. Everything worked as it should. Lots of television channels, bonus:)

It’s a cute place. But there’s no internet or cell service. I checked out early and found a hotel. It’s impossible to find cell service in a 10 mile radius of the place

Very nice and clean!
This was perfect for my granddaughter and I, for our hiking weekend. The only downside was there was not on piece of silverware in the cabin, just a spatulas and a can opener that was it, it was disappointing, as had I known, I would have brought my own. Otherwise it was clean and perfect for us!

It was cozy, cute, and peaceful. The only thing I would recommend is getting blackout curtains in the bedroom. The curtains in there don't cover the windows all the way and they're see threw. I felt like there's no privacy. Also, if you have Verizon there is no service unless you put the phone in the window.

Cute decor but nothing fancy. It has a soft bed and a warm shower which is just what you need after hiking all day. My husband was disappointed that there were no cookies at the cookie cottage. LOL!

This property lacks a comfortable chair indoors or out to sit and read which was one of my main objectives. Also, if you have your own Hotspot bring it. But the basics are there.

We enjoyed it. The cottage is very adorable! I loved the Farmhouse theme. I also loved the bed. It was very comfy. :) I do wish the Wi-Fi was a lot stronger inside. It was very nice and quiet there. Loved the village theme. Very nice stay! :)

The Cookie cottage is near the state park and made getting to the various trails quick and easy. The cottage itself is perfect for 2, bed was comfortable and it was neat and tidy. The internet (wifi) was spotty at best, and the TV was only usable for DVDs. I would stay again.

Needs emergency power.
It was very nice until the power went out on our last night. No battery powered illumination available. Should probably check in to supplying something like that. Other wise it was comfortable and convenient to the caves.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is perfect for a little get away! The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It felt very private even with the other cottages near by. There is a lot to look at whether it is inside or the other cottages nearby. We will be returning and plan to stay at one of the other cottages just to see what interesting things they have to offer.
