"I was treated well by all the staff. Ravi and Prachi and all the concierge staff made my visits with their attention and their kindness. I have been at the hotel twice and will stay two more times before returning to the US. I highly recommend the hotel."

Taj Palace, New Delhi

10/10 Excellent

"I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Taj Palace, New Delhi. The hospitality, service and attention to detail were excellent, reflecting the high standards synonymous with the Taj brand. However, as a Sikh guest staying during Diwali, I was disappointed that the hotel’s festive celebrations appeared to focus entirely on the Hindu significance of the occasion, with no acknowledgement of Bandi Chhor Divas, an equally important day for the Sikh community. Bandi Chhor Divas commemorates the release of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the Sixth Sikh Guru, alongside 52 Hindu princes from imprisonment at Gwalior Fort. It is a day of immense spiritual and historical significance for Sikhs worldwide. Given Delhi’s deep-rooted Sikh heritage and the city’s historical connections with our faith, I would have hoped an establishment of the Taj’s international standing would recognise this important occasion too. This is not about diminishing Diwali celebrations, but about embracing inclusivity and recognising the different communities and traditions that share this special day. A simple acknowledgement of Bandi Chhor Divas through decorations, guest communications or a festive greeting would have made Sikh guests feel equally recognised and valued. I commend the hotel for an otherwise excellent stay and offer this feedback constructively. True hospitality is about ensuring everyone feels welcome, respected and represented, regardless of their faith or heritage. Thank you!"

Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Dwarka, New Delhi

8/10 Good

"Overall good and clean hotel, welcoming staff. I expected more from the bellhop. He didn't explain the lights, A/, etc when he brought my bags in. Food was expensive. Breakfast was good. Would have liked an omelette station."

The LaLiT New Delhi

8/10 Good

"We booked two rooms for our family stay and were given adjacent rooms which worked well. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom spacious. One area for improvement is in-room dining plates/trays etc seemed to take a long time to be collected from the corridor that we saw as we walked to and from our rooms. The staff members we interacted with were polite and helpful. We enjoyed the dining at the onsite restaurants in the evenings. The breakfast buffet can get busy and I would advise getting there early to minimise any waiting. There was a good variety of food items in the buffet. The fresh coffee and chai station was enjoyed too. The onsite swimming pool and sauna/steam room was something we looked forward to in the evening to relax and wind down after a busy day. The location of the hotel was great for site seeing in Delhi as significant sites were all close by. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay here again."
