Newby Wiske Vacations from $1,766

Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush.

It was clean and good for the price but as a solo traveller I didn’t like not having a front desk and not having a way lock my door once in the room. So I wouldn’t stay here again on my own but with someone else I would

Very sweet little place to stay. The hosts are very thoughtful, we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The two brothers running the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They made us and our dog very welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable with a patio and view of the lake. Breakfast was very good and there were even sausages for the dog. There was plenty of parking and just a few minutes drive to Bowness-on-Windermere. Good value for money and we would definitely recommend staying here.
