our Chalet is matchless for giving you that 'home away from home' feeling. Comfortable, spacious, with plenty of natural light.
located in-between the two most attractive national parks "Biogradska Gora" and "Durmitor" and a short drive to a breathtaking Tara Rafting spot!
At 4 bedrooms and 3.5 showrooms , Chalet Tara is perfect for families or group of friends of up to 20 guests.
You'll find Chalet Tara professionally cleaned with linens, towels, toiletries, dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils provided. There is a BBQ and a large picnic-style table that seats 20 guests on the deck.
WiFi is free and available throughout the Chalet .

  • Montenegro has four national parks and Biogradska Gora is the smallest and oldest. This is Biogradska Lake, and you can take a very easy walk around it in less than an hour. More adventurous walkers can walk to Mt Bendovac, although be warned the walk takes almost double the advertised 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is no public transport from the nearest town of Kolasin, to Biogradska. A bus can drop you at the bottom of the road to the lake, but it's about an hour walk. Either hire a taxi to bring you here or ask other visitors in the town and see if anyone is driving out here. #nationalpark

Great chalet to visit wonderfull environment

Awsome terrace and view Good beds Well equiped chalet Cleanliness ok, but could be better Excellent price/quality No airco, but nights are cooler in the mountains and the fans gave us excellent nights of sleep, even when during the day it was 36°C. Absolutely beautifull environment with plenty of things to do (rafting, zip line, lakes, walks,...).

Remote Mountain home with incredible view

This house has the most amazing view and sits up about the Tara River. While the location is right in between Dumitor and Biogradska National Parks, the house is several Kilometres off the main road and it takes a good 15 minutes to get to the road. The last 2 Km are a dirt road and although it says you don’t need an SUV, you really did. Our small rental cars struggled to get up the roads and almost didn’t make it up the hills. The house was comfortable but very hot during the day since there is no air conditioning. There are fans in each room. Make sure you bring in provisions for your stay because the markets are quite far. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay because we wanted to be away from the crowds. There was a sewage smell in the upstairs bathroom that we tried to solve but it kept coming back and it would be nice if the owners cleaned out more space in the kitchen for renters to put away their food.

A magical place for our family vacation!

This is the best house I've lived in my whole life! The view from the window is amazing, each room has a separate toilet and shower, the interior of the house is very modern and stylish. The stars are very clearly visible at night. And one morning we were awakened by the knock of a woodpecker (bird) at the window. It was real gem of a property! we will defiantly recommend to other who wish to visit the Montenegrin mountain region.
