No dishwasher which we did miss since we did cook some. Not a huge deal. My wife was pleasantly surprised that all the products in the house from the shampoo to the olive oil spray, and hand soap were products she would buy. Short walk to beach and Cliff walks. Apartment is very comfortable and I napped several times. Beautiful flowers outside and I saw Hummingbirds. The shower was hot. You can tell Lou cares. If you’re coming to Newport consider this property as your home base. It’s conveniently located close to all the major attractions. Beach is walking distance, RIPTA bus took us to attractions in town, and we bicycled everywhere else (including the festival grounds)! The cottage was big enough for the two of us, kitchen well equipped and plenty of outdoor space for grilling and dining. We highly recommend it! ##### patti s. He’s kind, communicative and accommodating. I was traveling for work, photographing a wedding in Newport. The cottage was not overly fussy but was perfectly stocked with thoughtful touches and the bed was SO comfy. I loved the location for the ease with which I could get to town, but the removed quiet as well. I loved walking to the closest beach and Cliff Walk to take advantage of a perfect blue sky in the morning. Lou was available and present but also respectful of my privacy and peace. I couldn’t be more pleased with my time at Lou’s and will stay there again when I book my next Newport wedding. ##### sarah a. Lou and Dale are the perfect hosts and provided everything necessary for a great stay. The location is beautiful and close to everything.
