Great stay for our family trip!

My husband and I took our three adult children, spouses and our 17 month old grandson for our family trip. This stop in Oregon was perfect! Great house, great location and the beach was our grandson’s favorite part!!

ProsHouse was clean and the kitchen was large and well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. Ample beds to sleep in and the deck off the second floor was a true gem with a view of the ocean and a highlight of the house. It was nice to have two TVs. The dining area was big enough for our group. The fireplace in the kitchen/dining area was a comfy touch on the first evening.ConsThe side yard described as a possible place to have kids play was small, on the road and in need of mowing to make it a pleasant place to be. At check in the cleaners were still there and it took them another 20 minutes to finish up. They were using a STRONG bleach product that was an assault to our noses for about an hour afterwards even with the house wide open.All in all, a good house at a good price. We'd return.

Great family reunion

Our family of 10 had a great time. The layout is a little unique, but it worked great for us. It was nice to have a yard for outside activities, a patio for a fish fry from our Fishermans catch, and our crab feast lunch. We did miss having a bar b que grill at the house, but the owner was able to work that out for us. We found the owners very easy to work with and very responsive to questions! We would definitely come back.

Great place for our family to get together on the Oregon Coast

Located in a quiet neighborhood, very clean, fully furnished with all the amenities a person could want. The grandchildren liked the kids' movies in the video library. Everyone enjoyed the games. Lisa was always easy and quick to communicate with. She was always responsive with our questions and needs, for example when we needed an extra crockpot, she left one for us to use. We were three related families with 3 children, and everyone seemed to have enough space and privacy. We really enjoyed our stay here. Besides walking on the beach, we really loved the Yaquina Head lighthouse and the tide pools. Our security deposit was refunded very promptly following our stay. Definitely recommend this as a comfortable place to stay.

Great House, perfect vacation

We had a holiday family reunion, 7 adults and 3 small children. The house was perfect. Bedrooms were cozy, big enough. Having two bathrooms was great. The kitchen, with the island and large dining room area was so inviting. There were enough dishes, cooking utensils, etc., we always found what we needed for all our meals. The upstairs living room was the favorite spot, we could all fit comfortably. If anyone wanted to escape, there is the kitchen and den downstairs. The grocery stores were conveniently close, and Newport is our favorite beach town for a walk to the sea lions, checking out the aquarium, and just walking around. This was our first VRBO vacation, and it left a great impression. Lisa was great and we'd love to come back, especially since my grandchildren are calling it "Grandma's beach house!"

Family friendly beach rental

The kids loved the upstairs play area and bean bags to watch movies and play games. In terms of proximity to the beach, it was a little bit too far a walk for the little ones but fine for the adults. Beverly beach was beautiful and the kids had a blast once there. This is a minor complaint but we couldn’t find the coffee grinder and had brought whole bean coffee with us, so we had to go back into town to buy ground coffee for the morning. Otherwise, the kitchen was very nice and well stocked!

Great House!

I thought this house struck the perfect balance between "If you are going to need salt and pepper you had better bring it" and "Why is someone elses c**p all over the place here?". The kitchen was better equipped than other VRBOs I've seen. The beds were comfy. I also liked the location. I actually timed it and it's 15 minutes leisurely walk from front door to stepping on the beach. There's also a great nature hike right next to the property at the state park. If I were to tweak two things, I would prefer a property with an Ensuite Master...and also a place to sit and view the water.
