Point Break is a surfer’s (or beach-lover’s) paradise! Sitting right above Agate Beach with direct beach access, this three-story home has all the amenities you are looking for:

Home Description:
Point Break has unbelievable access to Agate Beach, an Oregon Coast favorite. It has sturdy steps with a handrail down to the beach where you can surf, stroll, beach comb, or whale watch. This home has a spacious great room with a gas fireplace and open concept kitchen overlooking the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked, has granite countertops, 2 large kitchen tables and a bar (seating for everyone!), and a 6-burner gas stove. There are also 2 decks, 5 private bedrooms, a crow’s nest, and game room. Two of the 5 bedrooms are on the main floor and three are downstairs.

When you book with us, a hold of $200 will be put on your card starting the day you arrive at our beach house until 7 days post departure. If all of the check-out items on the departure list are completed and no extra cleaning is required, the hold on your card will be released. Reminder: This functions not as a charge where the money ever leaves your account, but a pre-authorized amount by the cardholder that could be retrieved by OPI if extra cleaning was needed after your stay. Point Break review
The house had great space escpecially the second level with kitchen and living room area, and it was very clean (which is a big deal) and well stocked with dishes, towels, etc. The biggest disappointment was the view. The trees were so tall that there was bascially just a small area (25%,) where you can see the ocean or the nearby beach. Sit on the deck and watch the ocean...not happening. Trees right in your face. Also, expected a beach where we could go agate hunting. The beaches were pure sand, no rocks, no agates, but if thats what you like, then it was great for just walking. We were ready for some ping pong team duals, but there were only two paddles and not much in the way of games for the kids. :( The driveway was so steep that we were concerned to park on it because didn't want emergency brakes failing and cars going through the garage doors, so parked on the street somewhere and had to walk a bit to get to the house each time we went out. Still had a good time but probably would not stay there again unless those trees were cut way back.

This home is lovely and very well appointed. It has a wonderful large common kitchen, dining, living area that allowed everyone in our large group of 11 to eat and hang out together. It has stunning views of the beach as well as easy access to the beach. It's also walkable to the lighthouse. Hosts are easy to work with. We had a great time and have already booked a return trip!

Very nice house. Perfect for our group of seniors. Could have used one more adult friendly bedroom. Someone had to sleep in the bunk room. Twin beds would have been better. Windows needed cleaning to take in the amazing view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were 7 adults and 4 children under 9. A living room chair was broken, a smoke alarm went off, and the propane needed to be filled. We would definitely love to stay there again.

12 people of 3 generations loved staying here. View of the ocean was lovely. Beach access is just beside the house. Beach itself was quiet, and seemed to go on forever. Yaquina Head Lighthouse was an acceptable hike or short drive from the house also.kitchen was well outfitted so we cooked every nite. Highly recommend.

Lovely place
The house is nicely situated on a bluff overlooking the ocean. There are a few trees blocking some of the view. Easy stairs down to the beach. The house is quite large - enough to accommodate our extended family of 10 comfortably. Everything was very clean which allowed me to feel comfortable during our 7 day stay. There are lots of natural areas to visit, decent restaurants and lots of beach. If you can't do the stairs, Nye beach is just a mile away. Communication was excellent. We did have some problems with the lock on the front door, but it always eventually worked. I would definitely choose this place again. Thank you for a wonderful week with our children and grandchildren.

Best house we have ever stayed at
From the start the communication with the management company was amazing. They sent a link to all kinds of check in information and even sent us traffic advisories. We got to the house and the pictures do not do it justice. The place is beautiful and Melody even left a bottle of champagne for us. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking items and extra towels and anything you’d need. The view is breathtaking and the walk to the beach was way shorter than we thought. There are all kinds of amenities to use on your stay including games, beach items, and a ping pong table in the garage. The house is wonderfully clean and while the check out list is long, it was easy to accommodate. We had 11 people stay and everyone was comfortable and had a place to sleep. The hot tub was hot when we got there and very clean. There are 2 restaurants within 2 blocks for easy convenience but the house still felt private. Everyone in our party was impressed with this stay and we will be booking here again. This is a must stay when booking a group for Newport.

Fantastic location and house
We stayed here in July 2022 for a week with my extended family (my spouse/kids, my parents, and my sister and brother and their spouses). Both the location and the house were stellar. The location is right next to the path down to Agate Beach, which was fun to explore and is a local spot known for good surfing. It was great to be so close and not have to drive to go to the beach. The house was great as well. It looks like it was recently updated, and the main living area/kitchen is a great space for family/friends to gather and hang out and enjoy the ocean views. The rental exceeded our expectations and I would definitely highly recommend.

Can’t say enough about this place. The house was terrific. The cleaners must be very good. Comms with the property manager was swift and kind. Check in was great. All the amenities you need - we stayed for ten days and were very comfy. The location is killer, the beach is great. Fun mix of sand and wood and views. Star fish, crabs, bald eagles. God’s creation on full display. The hot tub was clutch and well taken care of. If we ever stay in this area again, this would be our first choice. All the grociery options are helpful. The path down to the beach is a steep one so be prepared. But it’s as good of access as you’re going to get on a bluff. And if you’re going to surf, this is the place! So grateful for a wonderful experience.

Great location and fun house. I think the kids went up and down the crows nest a thousand times. Really liked the remodel job, someone has some good taste. We were at the same house 6 years ago before the remodel.

Gorgeous house!
The house is beautiful and the views are amazing. Dishwasher was broken which was a pain but the property manager did let us know ahead of time and extended our check out time. For a house that sleeps so many the hot tub should have been twice the size. Also, would have been nice to have more bath towels but it was ok. We would definitely stay here again.
