"Camelot Hotel Cornwall"
A beautiful, dramatic and imposing building, ideal for sightseeing that part of Cornwall. Delightful staff , excellent restaurant , food and wine. The entry lobby is a dream for all who arrive and the restaurant and bar is a must to all who stop there. Th e location is ideal for movies , sightseeing , dog walking and rambling. The owners, who are in situ, are very pleasant and have a plan to improve and modernise the building. The bedroom was cold, and a look a like electrical log fire would be better than the cheap electrical oil radiator that was in the room. Being at the end of the corridor the hot water took a few minutes to arrive and was not really that hot. Mt wife and I both loved the atmosphere of the hotel , even the quaint lift that is still in use. The place oozed history! We will definitelyreturn hopefully when more of the redecoration is completed.

"Hotel close to beach"
Nice, clean hotel with parking. Near to the Gyllyvase Beach and cliff path to Swan Pool and within walking distance of town centre. The Hotel has recently stopped being dog friendly but had not yet updated their website. They did not get my message to say I was bringing the dog. I was allowed to keep him. Sue was charming and friendly. I found her partner a little intimidating; he confronted me in the car park when I where I had met up with my daughter on her Birthday to tell me the Hotel was no longer pet friendly. This made my daughter anxious. He allowed me to keep the dog with me; I had driven all day, over 600 miles to be in Falmouth for my daughter's Birthday. The room was very nice with an unsuited and brewing facilities(generously provisioned). Clean bedding and towels. There was Mildew around the ceiling near the window. I understand from chatting with Sue that they had had some problems with guests and their pets which had lead to their decision to stop being dog friendly. A real shame. Maybe explains the awkwardness when I turned up with my dog. Breakfast was very nice, Hotel clean. Lots of tourist information.

"Nice accommodation, short walk to town"
The room was fine, staff very friendly and helpful, parking free and easy, and it's a short walk to town. Restaurant was OK but a bit pricey for what it was.

"Awesome!"
We had a lovely short break at Holly Cottage and can honestly say that we couldn't have asked for more perfect hosts! Dom and Karen were so lovely and welcoming and by the time we left we felt like we had known them for years! The b&b itself is cosy and comforting with lovely décor and we had a delicious breakfast each day. Alfie the dog was an added bonus! Mevagissey itself is a quaint and pretty little town and the locals in the pubs were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that we didn't get to stay for longer!

"Perfect location for exploring Padstow. "
We found the hotel comfortable and the staff very friendly. The full breakfast was excellent as was the Afternoon Tea. Although the hotel was a little tired in places, it was both comfortable and welcoming. The sea view was beautiful and the location was perfect for exploring Padstow on foot. It was only 2 to 3 minutes walk away from some great eating establishments. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again.
