The balcony was indesperate need of repair and the trees were all overgrown blocking any kind of view. When we moved the sofa to use the pull out bed, there was all kinds of crumbs and food under it.

If you’re looking for a remote, cozy, and beautiful place away from everyone and everything, this is it! There’s a great view of the mountains from the back porch. When you open the door to the cabin, you’re greeted with the wonderful smell of fresh wood, as well as one of the cleanest places I’ve ever seen. I had planned on taking a scenic drive while I was there, but it was so relaxing just sitting in the rocking chair on the porch - enjoying the fresh breeze, and peace and quiet. Everything was in great condition too, including the grill. I can tell that the owner takes good care of this place. I highly recommend this cozy cabin, and I will probably come back!

Right off the bat we found several baby roaches in the room. It was terribly hard to get the shower to work, and when I did there only lukewarm water. Staff was friendly, check in and out were easy, but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Hotel was a good place to stay in Mountain Home. It was clean . The breakfast was just okay- the basic eggs and sausage and potatoes and cereal that we had everywhere else.
