Friendly staff and the room and amenities were as described.

It was like staying in a cabin, but with all the amenities. We really enjoyed it and the American bedspread with 1776 to 2026 on it was amazing and very beautiful.

We paid extra for a river view room and we were put in a room on the bottom floor where it’s impossible to see the river because of the bushes. It would have been nice to know this when booking and paying extra that you can only see the river if you are on the third floor or higher. Felt kind of ripped off and false advertising. If we had this information before hand we would not have paid extra for something that could not be provided. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was excellent and very friendly when we asked for new towels.

Our short stay (less than 12 hours) was perfectly fine. Everything seemed pretty good, however, there were orange warning signs from the fire marshal on every door leading into the building warning of dangerous conditions. The people behind the counter didn’t address these signs with me at all. Idk what that was about, but it certainly was concerning. Otherwise, everything was fine and the restaurant next door was amazing.

It’s about 2 steps above an hourly motel. Most of the occupants looked like individuals just getting by… with all their belongings in their vehicles and in front of the motel doors. I had to sign additional forms regarding deep fat fryers, cooking supplies, pets and daily inspections. The room we stayed in was just renovated and was nice and comfortable but they were out of soap so they gave us shampoo to wash our hands. They tried…and everything else was sold out in the area because of graduation from the university which is why we were in the area.
