“Koshinoyado Takashimaya is a very traditional Ryokan, in the best sense! It is located in an ancient building that is very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and caring, service was impeccable. The food was delicious, diner and breakfast alike. We have stayed in ryokans before, in various regions in Japan. Our stay here was one of the most pleasant experiences overall. Very much recommended!”

“夜7時頃到着し次の日の朝7時過ぎに出てしまう、たった1日の短い滞在でしたが、ホテルの方々はとても丁寧で親切で居心地が本当に良かったです。ホテルもとても綺麗で快適でした。駐車場もたくさんあり、近くにコンビニはありませんが、すぐ隣りにドラッグストアや商業施設もあるので便利でした。また利用したいと思います。”

“I was rather intimidated by this listing considering how automotated the whole process is. It’s all done with thorough written instruction and an iPad at check-in/out. I felt like I was doing a scavenger hunt on The Amazing Race or something. Stay the course and read everything carefully. “Este hotel me sorpendió por su ubicación y contrastes. Se encuentra muy cerca de la estación, justo delante vaya, y está en una zona muy activa. Pude un poco la noche de Niigata y pasear por sus calles. Las instalaciones son correctas, un hotel reformado.
