"Not bad, but not worth the money. We stayed at other ryokan/hotels on our trip around the same price range that were next level. The only highlight at Nipponia was the sake. Their room and food would have been acceptable at half the price. I recommend you stay elsewhere and only drop by for some sake tasting."

"This traditional merchant house converted hotel is lovely. We own the entire building with two floors. One tiny living room on the ground floor, a bath house, a separate toilet near the entrance, along with a spacious bathroom with the second living room on the second floor. It’s airy and full of scent of wood. However, the bedroom is facing the road without sound proof windows, it was very noisy throughout the night. "

"築100年以上の文化財ということで、大変趣のあるお宿でした。 お部屋は二階に泊まらせていただきましたが、小さい子どもがいたので足音などが下のお部屋に響く心配がありました。小さいお子さんがいる場合、一階の方がいいかもしれません。 お風呂は時間帯と混み具合によっては貸切にさせてもらえるということで、我が家は家族で入らせてもらいました。子ども達も大喜びでした。 窓にカーテンなどがないので、外から見えないかが気になったり、朝日が眩しくて子ども達がとても早起きになるということはありました。"
