“The room was clean and the location was wonderful for visiting Salem. It was really nice to have off-street parking onsite. The staff were friendly and helpful in navigating the check-in and check-out process. Breakfast was really good, efficient, and the staff were so lovely at breakfast too!”

“The property is for sale. That means that there was less attention to the outside and to updating our room. The rug on our floor was a long shag rug like the kinds used in the 1970s. I wasn't sure it was very clean. The decor was Asian and dated. The pillows were quite flat and only two in a king sized bed. The A/C was noisy but worked. We could open the windows which was nice. The airplanes from Logan were very loud but stopped by about 11 pm and started again about 6 am. We never saw……

“They charged $450 per night for a dog without any way to tell them I had a dog, not on Expedia nor through phone calls to them. Texts and phone calls were unanswered for days. I tried to book a weeklong stay through text and no one answered for 3 days until it was too late. After my third day, they hit me with a $1100 cleaning bill for my dog, calling her smelly and saying they had to replace the rug and linens because of a small pile of fur they swept from the floor. They refused to refund,……

“Nice place to live (self catering type) but a slop hill of about 25m to walk through if on foot. With 7 day pass, it is easy to travel to Boston city about 40mins. Nearby, get restaurants and 7-11. It is a good place (cost effective) to stay for my Boston marathon and walk around Boston. ”

“Everything was lovely. Great owners. Be aware that Salem does not allow for inns to cook full breakfasts for guests. If you are allergic to or sensitive to cats, be aware that the owners have several cats.”
