One of the restaurant staff, Jolene, helped me by using the microwave to heat up soup I'd brought from home, because the rooms don't have microwaves. The exercise facilities were minimal, so keep that in mind and maybe plan to be outside, hopefully without poor air quality. The noise level from the fire pits was significant, despite many signs throughout the lodge stating quiet hours begin at 10pm. Something else to keep in mind when booking...if you want to sleep stay in a "resort view" room rather than a river facing room.

Everything about the hotel was great except the sleep. I planned this trip several months in advance for my wife’s birthday and compared to other hotels in the area, this was one of the most expensive at over $500/night which I thought would be a good splurge. Come to find out, there are sea lions living under the hotel that literally bark all day and all night long…. Dozens of them. Neither one of us was able to sleep for more than an hour or so intermittently each night. It was horrible to say the least. Beyond that, it was a great place..
