"This simple cabin is a great place to stay! Check in was easy. The kitchen and baths were clean. We only had 6 people but the cabin has three levels and would probably fit 17 people to sleep. The covered porch was perfect for relaxing. We met the owner and he was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. The stay was very laid back. The property is close to town and amenities. We would love to go back and stay longer!"

"Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. We hope to return next year for a longer stay. A week isn't long enough."

"Great cabin in the middle of the woods. It was a lovely alternative to tent sleeping and the outside patio area was the great hangout area. Highly recommend to get away from city and work life. "

"We had everything we needed and then some in this clean and pretty cabin. Liked that we had our own grill on the front porch. Location was quiet and great for access to the St John Valley Heritage Trail. The pavilion had a fireplace and comfy couches and two more grills. The owners were very responsive and you really can't beat the price. All in all a great experience with all the amenities you could ask for."
