“I did not get there during daylight and left before dawn, so the view was not an issue. But the facilities were modern and clean for such a reasonable price. I was traveling by my myself, so I don't put a lot of emphasis on the conditions of the facilities. If I was traveling with wife or family it would be a major concern. “The Rabbit Ears has been a favorite of ours for many years. It's nothing fancy, but the staff is excellent. It is at a perfect location in downtown Steamboat, with a bus stop right next to the motel, for easy transit to the mountain. We recommend a king room with sofa, lots of space!”

“This facility is amazing. The room was so spacious, with a kitchen, dining and living room area separate from the bedroom. In the room we even had a fireplace for the extremely chilly weather. We also had a sliding glass door to step out onto our patio, with a view of the pool and snow capped mountains behind. We loved seeing the snow fall when we pulled back the curtain. It was a perfect pick for our Christmas trip to Breckenridge. ”
