The hotel and room were fine, staff friendly so no issues with any of that. What let the hotel down was the food service and quality. Had a bar meal on the Sunday night - Fish and Chips, the fish was decent but only got around 10-15 chips and the smallest ramekin of peas I've ever seen. Partner got the Chicken Tikka Curry which she wasn't impressed with, suspected it might have been frozen. However the real low point was breakfast, which can only be described as chaotic. Must've seen only about 3 staff tryin to cater for around 70 customers. They ran out of orange juice which wasn't replaced. Waited 5 mins for beans which were stone cold. Other issues too, very disappointing

"We stayed one night at a charming old hotel. However, the decor is a little tired and worn in places. The room was very clean and comfortable. The car park is a little tight, just to be aware of where you park as you find pigeon droppings all over your car the next morning. So have water and cloth ..."
