I totally enjoyed my stay. Very convenient location. Excellent Caesar Salad at the restaurant. It is an economy hotel so ask for extra towels if traveling solo...

Due to delayed flights, I arrived at 02:20 hours but was greeted by a warm and friendly lady on reception who completed the check-in in a friendly manner and offered a hot drink. I had booked a standard room ideally with a sea view. That was not possible as the hotel was full however she advised ...

I loved Alesund, when we were eating dinner a marching band marched and played its way down the street, it must be a fabulous community.
Alesund is very nice and it’s nature beautiful surrounding. The food is very expensive comparing to usa and a lot of cruise ships stop in alesund
Very pretty small city with limited activities.
They are doing construction on the tunnel to get to Alesund (from the airport). Make sure you leave early for your flight to compensate for the possible long wait that you might have just to get thru the tunnel.
We did the Sukkertoppen hike, and I would recommend that as a fun way to get into nature and see the city.
