5/5 - Excellent
Beautiful little town, with lots of different beaches to see it! If you can don’t miss to see the turtles at playa Ostional!

The room was nice but dark. I suppose the rooms on the second floor are nicer. The staff didn’t seems to like their job. Or tired of girats maybe. Nice pool area. Note that this is a family hotel. It is not a calm romantic place. Breakfast was poor. I think that americans are the target for this ...

La casa bien. Todo en orden. La dirección para llegar a la casa muy mal. Invertimos mas de 3 horas en lograr llegar a la casa. Gracias.

Great overall just one really inconvenient thing was that for our 3 night stay we had to change room every single day which was a hassle and forced us to be at the property to do the moving every day at 1pm when we could have been at the beach or in town.

Most disappointing is the roads are awful and have turned us off returning to this area. VERY gravelly and dusty. 4 wheel drive recommended if you are driving- esp in rainy weather. Get a shuttle to avoid the driving hassle but then you are stuck :(
The roads to arrive and in the area are quite poor. Gravel, washouts etc. Give extra time to drive. But this has nothing to do with Nosara itself. Just an fyi.
Roads can be interesting and a little rough depending on the time of year, but the entire area was incredible! Bad roads bring good people!
I would highly recommend the Gilded Iguana to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing getaway
