I've stayed at the Hotel Guanacaste for 15 years - the only times i have not is when they haven't had a room available- it's my preferred local. It's not a fancy place, but it suits my needs. It is very close to the bus stations and dining choices

I’ve stayed here at least three times and the service is amazing and the rooms are good, and very clean, you can walk to the beach in 5 to 7 minutes and to shopping in about the same amount of time.

The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating! Two of the staff members went above and beyond! The food was really good. The room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it. Seemed like the towels and bedding weren’t fresh, they smelled like someone used them.
