"I very much enjoyed my stay. The renters were incredibly kind and nice and very helpful. They provided me with a nice little gift basket of goodies as well when I arrived. We had a little trouble with the language barrier, but were able to effectively communicate. Luckily they spoke some English because I did not speak any French. Very kind and nice people. It was a very convenient location for accessing the beaches. I enjoyed my stay very much."

"This house was just perfect for our weekend with 2 friends and the central location was just the right position to reach many of the WW2 museums and beaches so well worth extending our drive from Calais. We loved the view of the harbour and the experience of the Sunday market right outside our door. The house is very well equipped, comfortable and exceptionally clean. "We stayed here for 3 nights to explore Normandy by car. Port-en-Bessen is a perfect location and this house is in the middle of it. Wonderful hostess met us and walked us thru the house and made sure we were comfortable and all our questions were answered. She provided us with local and Normandy information and the house was extremely well stocked for us. Three wonderful nights and we were sad to leave. We travel a lot and this was our favorite house and town to stay in. We will be back!"
