It was better than our expectations. The apartment exceeded our expectations – comfortable beds (quite firm) and good pillows. There was AC in two of the rooms and fans in all three. There was no frying pan, but we simply asked the staff for one and they arranged it right away. The staff were very friendly and helpful – both the pool attendant, the reception staff, and the guards at the gate. The pool was nice and well maintained. There was also a restaurant, and the food was very good. We highly recommend the Swahili curry chicken! Breakfast was available for 700 KES. It was an à la carte breakfast, and we could simply tell them what we wanted. The laundry service also worked very well. The hotel is located about 5–10 minutes walk from the beach. There is also a large supermarket nearby. It costs around 200–300 KES to get there by tuk tuk. We highly recommend Lotfa to anyone who wants to travel to Diani Beach on a budget trip 💜

This is my second visit, very good all round, but they ran out of clean free water.

The lush greenery around the property is appealing. However, there was confusion over the reservation, which took a while to sort out. Gaining access to the room, we discovered there were no towels. It took us three calls to reception and an hour and a half wait before receiving the towels.
