“We had an excellent experience at Alokke. It is quaint from the outside but clean, comfortable and updated inside. Our room was comfortable, with 2 chairs and a desk, besides a very comfortable bed. We had an ensuite bathroom which was well stocked with just about anything you might need. I was not feeling up to going out for dinner with my husband and his family, so I stayed home. “Let's talk about the positives first. There is one - location. Nestled in the middle of a farm. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the surroundings. Also, the check in was quick.
The property itself is nothing to rave about. It's in desperate need of maintenance. Dust, spiders everywhere. TV doesn't work. Kettle leaks. Shower is super leaky and floods the bathroom. Half of the windows don't have blinds which means at 4 AM, it's filled with light.
