The adjacent kitchen offers plenty of counter space and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Perch on the three barstools at the center island to keep your family chef company as they work or eat a quick lunch. Around the corner, a small, dedicated dining room is furnished with a classic kitchen table that seats four, and French doors lead to a screened porch complete with additional dining sets. Throw the doors wide to bring the outside in for mealtimes or take your meal outside to the screened porch or adjacent decks for a true al fresco dining experience.

When the time comes to retire for the evening, the first bedroom suite is located behind a rolling barn door off the living area. Equipped with a queen bed and two armchairs, the attached private bath has a corner shower stall with a rounded glass door that brings subtle retro vibes to this space.

On the other side of the home, a short hallway leads to the final pair of bedrooms, where each provides a TV for personal entertainment. The street-side bedroom is furnished with a king bed and an attached private bathroom with a step-in shower stall.

The rear bedroom has a king bed. The attached bath is furnished with a step-in glass shower stall and provides direct access to the back decks. A small adjacent room houses a twin bed. This room is just off the garage, which is furnished with a final TV, sofa, dining table and a second full-sized refrigerator. Beach equipment and pool items are also stored here for your use, and a standard full bathroom with a shower stall is convenient for rinsing off in privacy after a trip to the beach or before jumping into the pool.

The exterior door leads to the cement pool deck, with a private saltwater pool and adjacent hot tub where you’re sure to spend hours splashing together and building memories. An enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water is also provided here. The outdoor areas of this home are built for entertaining, with extensive open and covered decks, plenty of seating for dining or conversation, a tiki bar and a lush grassy area for your pets to enjoy within the fully fenced backyard. Mature landscaping and gorgeous wind-sculpted trees complete this magical backyard oasis.

When it’s time to hit the beach, a quick drive of only two minutes takes you to the nearest public beach access. With a distance of less than a mile, many guests will find the distance walkable, and snacks or cold drinks can be found at the Beach Pantry, a popular convenience store you’ll pass on the way.

A bit further east, you can rent a pole and drop a line in the water at Ocean Crest Fishing Pier, enjoy a cold draft and a beautiful sunset from The Seahorse Eats and Drinks or celebrate a special occasion at one of nicest restaurants in the area, Island Way. If you decide to take a daytrip to nearby Southport, Wilmington or Myrtle Beach, you’ll find yourself on the mainland in moments thanks to the convenient location close to one of the two island bridges.
