"This was my second stay in the hotel and I chose to stay here again specifically because of its location on the Zocalo. It is in the heart of the action, liveliness, and culture that is Oaxaca. Most nights outside are a kind of party. That said, the hotel has done a great job of soundproofing to reduce the noise for its guests (there are also cheaper inside rooms whose windows open to the interior courtyard and are quieter).
