Newly renovated and close to the center, yet still living up to the neighborhood feel, Casa Tiptón is an oasis of local art and crafts. The cast concrete Félix Candela style structure is modern and local. The reimagined shaded front patio mural by local muralist Auristione makes the down-stairs as inspiring as the upper levels. Wind down with a mezcal cocktail and a view on the rooftop terrace. Less than 15 minutes walk from Santo Domingo and 3 minutes away from the Mercado Sanchez Pascuas. The multi floor Casa Tiptón has been brought to life with imaginative local art, sculptures and high quality textiles. Download movies or speak with loved ones using the excellent Wifi connection. The kitchen is ready to go. Take advantage of the local markets and cook at home. The premium quality pillows and mattresses will put you to sleep every night. Wake up with a peaceful view of the interior agave garden. Recently we have added double glaze windows to the bedrooms to minimize the outdoor noise.
