"This was a great place to stay. We were looking to avoid the touristy and resort areas, and this was perfect. We were able to explore the Big Island from here.Kids loved Earl Grey and Rama, the cat and dog. And of course, they loved the pool and hot tub. The view was amazing."

"The view from this property was amazing! We slept with the windows open and listened to the ocean all night. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed as well as coolers and beach chairs to use during our day excursions. "

"There's more than one yurt on the property. We stayed in the studio, in which the bathroom is attached. No going outdoors to use the funky facilities. We were very comfortable and found the hosts to be accommodating. Gas grill has a side burner if you feel like cooking instead of dining out. The town is called Ocean View. As pointed out previously, there is no ocean view from the property. Incredible view of stars at night.We found this to be a great value and would certainly book it again."

"The room was clean and it is basically like a big tent. It was raining and windy the two nights we were there and it was really loud with the sound of rain hitting the cover and material flapping in the wind. Everything inside felt damp including the sofa. The yurts are built on a rural residential area and there is nothing within walking distance. There is a very very distant view of the ocean if you stand on the property in the right spot. There is no running water inside the Yurt. It has a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster and cooking utensils but no sink. The bathroom and shower is in a separate building a short walk away. The drive from the Yurt to the Volcano National park is an hour and 10 mins away. The advertisement says it is an 8 min drive. The internet wasn't working but it was not a big deal and we purchased a roaming package instead. We are used to camping and roughing it a bit but this yurt fell short of our expectations. "

"We spent the week with our school group and had an amazing time. The property was immaculate and well-provisioned. There was a variety of activities to keep the kids entertained. We will definitely be returning again soon!"

"Beautiful property that is well stocked with extras! The house was accurately listed and the views were stunning. Double washer/dryer was very convenient for our group of 9. We stayed during the Kona Low storm. We made the most of it with island activities and this beautiful, spacious rental. We even got in a little pickleball between rainfalls. Guy was very responsive to all our questions before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend this beautiful property!"
