"Staff was really helpful about ferry schedule to nearby Islands and bus schedule to nearby beaches. They made a lot of helpful suggestions and everything was very smooth. They were probably the most helpful hotel staff we experienced in Japan, and we enjoyed talking with them. We tried the breakfast in the cafe one day and it was good. Good tips I read that are helpful, is that there are multiple Dormy Inn's in the city, so remember to go to the Central Park one! You can take a bus down the main street, or do a 20 minute walk from the station. I ended up using the bus for when I had my heavy luggage. "Check it was good, but when we asked if a full bat/restaurant was available, the young man who chin us in was very annoyed to tell us about the nice restaurant/bar they had on the 18th floor. We were very happy about that so after freshening up after a long travel day, we headed to the place he recommended only to be very sad and upset that it was closed.
