A funky yurt-style holiday home, Rata is drenched in sunshine and tastefully decorated with comfort and style in mind. The spacious open-plan living space is the perfect spot to get cosy with a glass of wine or a fresh barista-style coffee, and thanks to the heat pump you can set the temperature just how you like it. Put your feet up with a good book, or settle down with a glass of wine for the evening. The galley-style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to self-cater your holiday, and with both a dining table and breakfast bar, there are options galore when it comes to sharing a meal with your family and friends. Comfortably sleeping up to eight guests across its four bedrooms, Rata provides bedding configurations that make it the ideal holiday home for all types of getaways. Two modern bathrooms, including an ensuite to the master bedroom, feature heated towel rails for a little bit of luxury. Just like you, your adventure equipment needs a place to be cosy at the end of the day. You'll be pleased to know Rata has a laundry that also acts as a drying room! When it comes to getting out to explore everything Ohakune has to offer you’re in a prime spot here at Rata. Walking just 15 minutes (or a quick two minutes by car) south will find you in the town centre with its eateries, shops, and supermarkets. The same distance in the opposite direction leads you to Ohakune Junction; a hub for transport around the area as well as the home of the Powderhorn Chateau with its thermal pools and popular restaurant, the Powderkeg.
