“Great stay at this little gem! Very tidy and comfortable. Had a visit from a friendly doe each evening. Cabin well equipped with everything we needed. Bonsey (dog) loooved surveying his vacation kingdom from the little dock!!”

“We loved this cabin and enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so clean and had little extras like super fluffy towels. We especially loved the screen porch. We spent so much of our time on the porch playing games, reading, and having fun. It was also pretty warm our last evening there, and the porch provided a little breeze so it wasn’t quite as warm. The only drawback in the summer is that the cabin is not air conditioned, but we knew this when we booked our stay, so we made the best of it. We would……

“We LOVE staying here!! We have so much fun fishing, shopping, dining out. We have to see the Lumberjack show the next time we stay. It’s Fantastic!! We wish we could have stayed for a couple weeks! Such a beautiful cabin, wonderful jacuzzi! Relaxing and fishing was incredible! We caught close to 100 fish during are 5 day stay. The pontoon is a lot of fun! So relaxing & peaceful!! “This was hands down one of our most memorable and enjoyable trips north. The lake was perfect swimming depth for children and the waters were calm, not a lot of wake traffic like the larger lakes in Hayward. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Everything we needed as far as kitchen utensils and appliances, which was important to us to cook our own meals during our stay. Kathleen and Steve were wonderful hosts and great conversation. They really treated our children well, bringing out extra items……

“A super cute and cozy cabin that is about a 25 min drive to the Brikie trailhead and downtown Hayward. We came up for the Birkie trail run and were super happy with the location. The owner is really nice and the resort dog, Vincent, is such a sweetheart! The lake is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Would stay here again!”

“Our stay for the Berkie Cross Country skiing races was great. Have a bar/ restaurant in the complex with friendly owners, who also own the cabins.”

“This cabin is perfect for a small family or two couples. The location is perfect. There’s plenty of dock space. The screened-in porch overlooks a quiet bay. The cabin is just a few steps from the water. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. I’d bring a fan along if staying during summer as the upstairs bedrooms were very warm on a hot summer night. We loved this place and hope to come back soon!”

“We really had the best time here. The house was cozy, had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We spent our weekend swimming in the lake, grilling, and enjoying great company by the fire. It was nice to walk over to the nearby restaurant for a quick bite to eat and a cocktail. The highlight of our weekend was fishing off the dock, we caught a variety of fish. We are already planning our next trip to come!”
