“They greeted us when we arrived and taught us the history of the property. The cottage was a great place to stay and we loved the grill and fire pit!”

“We visited Duluth and handful of times for the activities for children and the drive to or from the property was not long at all. Loved the location! Our two young boys loved the upstairs setup. Clean and comfortable. Host cleared the snow right away and at a reasonable time. Thank you for sharing this property. Definitely stay again!”

“We were in Thorp visiting relatives in the area. We were thrilled to find this house so we didn’t have to stay at the local hotel. The house is adorable, clean, and a lovely retreat if you are in the area. I hope to stay here again next year when I am visiting family.”

“Madison and Taylor obviously took care and were thoughtful about how they decorated their rental unit. It was so cute and unique! It was also clean, comfortable and well taken care of. The hosts communicated promptly and made sure all of our needs were met. We especially liked the retro milkshake maker! ”

“Cabin is exactly as described. Host sent several messages to insure everything was fine. Just a couple of minutes from downtown Hayward. Comfortable bed along with two bunk beds, perfect for a family with two kids. No stove, but apartment size fridge, coffee maker etc.”

“We loved the location of the property and the friendliness of the host. The kitchen has adequate utensils. This was not the easiest place to locate, but the host helped with a great description of how to find it. We felt Expedia misled us when they indicated linens were provided when they definitely were not. Since this was our only booking requiring this it was a bit of a hassle to bring our own sheets, blanket, and pillows for a two night stay.”

“We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.”
