Our spacious 1200 sqft open studio style ranch house sits on 21 acres of the most enchanted views you will find anywhere in Northern New Mexico, 5 minutes to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs, peaceful privacy, galactic night skies, fast fiber-optic wifi, large open kitchen, indoor/outdoor hammock chairs, and tranquility that calms the wildest of spirits, and soothes the soul. THe Space Open studio style design with a newly remodeled bathroom and a sexy walk in shower with an outdoors vibe, open kitchen including gas stove, microwave, large LG fridge, and dishwasher. Sleeping accommodations include a spacious king size bed, futon style sleeper sofa, and a super comfy rollaway bed. Built in workstation is a nice feature for remote work meetings and productivity. Road Conditions: The property is located on a private dirt road 100 yards from the paved US Highway. The road is very well maintained and you will have no problem reaching the ranch house parking with any vehicle type. About Ojo Mystico Solar Adobe Ranch House Our home sits on 21 acres of private land located within Carson National Forest. It was built in 2006, the house is 100% solar powered, with a fully integrated water harvesting and purification system. We are 5 minutes from Ojo Caliente Hot Springs, 45 minutes to Taos and the Taos Gorge Bridge, 1 hour to Taos Ski Valley, 65 minutes to Santa Fe. Note: If you are looking to disconnect during your stay, this Weather: The Ojo Mystico Solar Adobe Ranch House sits at 6700 feet on a panoramic plateau located on the northern most border of Ojo Caliente. The summers are warm, and the winters are cool. Throughout the course of the year the temperature varies from 42F to 84F. As the saying goes here in New Mexico “Just wait 15 minutes, and the weather will change!” Eco-amenities Layout: The kitchen, dining, living, and bedroom is arranged in a wide open studio floor plan with awe inspiring views in all directions. The kitchen is a wonderful place to cook meals while catching enchanted sunrises and sunsets. A 55” smart tv can be viewed from the comfort of the king size bed or from the sofa. A designated productivity workstation also has a comfort desk chair and desk lamp. Land: The ranch house sits on 21 acres of private land within Carson National Forest. The views are some of the more incredible in all of Northern New Mexico and come complete with Georgia O’Keefe infamous iconic Pedernal Mesa located in Abiquiu NM and the closer Vibora Mesa that is about a 6 mile round trip hike from the ranch. If you’re looking for solitude and tranquillity, look no farther. Yes, it really is as pretty as the pictures make it look. I’ve stayed at dozens of short-term rentals over the years and this is the only one I’d stay at again without hesitation. The property is pretty isolated (which is a good thing) so be sure to plan ahead with groceries, but once you’re there it has everything you need. So quiet. Open, quiet, relaxing. The hammocks inside and outside were so so relaxing. I loved the open simplicity of this home. A great place to unplug and also so nice that I got to share it with my dogs, thanks for being a dog friendly property.
