My sister and I sometimes picked small places like the Green Country Inn because it's nice to park right in front of your room. The people running it are very nice, and while breakfast offerings were limited, we weren't expecting any, so it was a pleasant surprise.

If you want a very clean room and a comfortable bed at an out-of-the-way, locally owned place, then I can recommend this room. The "continental breakfast" was not much - just cereal, but could not find any milk. But I saved enough money to get a good breakfast along the way.

We were enroute from AZ to TN and this was along the way. We didn't want to stay in a big city, and this definitely is not that! It was very clean, and behind the hotel there was a lake. Lots of grass, which the dog loved.

The room was nicely renovated. Comfortable bed and cleaned well. Only drawback was the breakfast. It was chocolate donuts and coffee. Not really a “breakfast”. More like a snack.

The bed sheets did not fit and came completely untucked during the night. There was no coffee maker in the room and the sole coffee maker in the lobby area was caffeinated only. The refrigerator was roomy but lacked a freezer shelf. The shower was weak and there was no grab bar for support. There was a minimum set of cheap, dingy towels for two people. There was no hair dryer present. We did not bother with breakfast.

It is an old roadside motel but everything was clean and updated. Breakfast was included but was the most minimal I have ever had with just cereal, milk coffee, juice and a few Walmart muffins.
