Bluelake at the gate of lake Como

Nice location for daytrip to Lake Como. A bit hard to find with a car. Great with parking right outside rooms. Room was spacious and clean

If you check the 5 star reviews here some have unrelated pictures or are made by people who only give 5 star reviews. These are made by paid review farms to artificially boost the star rating. Sadly, I was duped and booked this place for my family through Expedia for a non-refundable rate. Firstly, it's not located where Google maps has it. It's located behind the Fiorista Adda (towards the lake). The receptionist was nice enough to contact us on Whatsapp and stay in touch with us until we arrived. The room was pretty big with high ceilings but had very odd decor. The lights were dingy and dark. The shower had no curtain and was open to the entire large bathroom. There was no toilet paper holder, just a small black stool as a makeshift holder. The flush buttons were broken and I figured out it was the small metal button at the bottom near the bidet. There was a weird textured styrofoam tile in various places and mismatched wall designs. The biggest problem was, after my wife showered, the hot water ran out while my son was showering and he had to finish in freezing cold water. The electric hot water heater and tank was in the bathroom and made a very loud rumbling that was extremely irritating that can be heard on the queen bed outside. We waited for a while and there was no hot water. Nobody could help because it was past 8:30pm. Also the wifi was very spotty. My sons didn't sleep well on the sofa beds because the mattresses were too thin. Overall, disappointing! Don't book!

Wil je een goedkoper hotel maar toch uitzicht op het water en vlakbij het Comomeer zitten dan is dit hotel perfect en vlakbij het hotel zitten goede restaurants die ook niet super duur zijn

Hoffentlich nie wieder

Nachdem wir nach 2 Tagen die Handtücher auf den biden gelegt haben um wie pberall anders neue zu bekommen, hat die Putzfrau diese nur wieder aufgehangen (dreckig vom dreckigen Blden der eh nur halbherzig gereinigt wird). Des weiteren ist es sehr laut im Hotel

La habitación estaba bien, doble como la había reservado. Pero si en la reserva me dejas elegir el tipo de habitación con fotos específicas de cada una, con nombres diferentes (Bellagio, etc.) y características como "vistas al lago" y yo la reservo, espero que sea así. No que cuando llegue me dejen una habitación doble diferente a la que había reservado. Al menos a la hora de reservar la habitación no deberían especificar qué habitación, si luego te van a dar la que les venga bien. Además, el trato fue muy deficiente. Por un lado porque la persona que nos atendió no sabía hablar inglés (no es tan grave), pero es que tampoco sabía entender lo que le indicábamos con el traductor en italiano. Así que llamó al jefe por teléfono y hablamos con él, pero aunque quedaba claro que no era la habitación que habíamos reservado su solución fue quedarnos en la que quedaba. Su trato fue de impresentable y deshonesto.

Unglaublich tolle Lage direkt vor dem Wasser. Kaffee/Restaurant direkt nebenan. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal! Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig, das Badezimmer ebenso. Ein sehr grosser, ebenerdiger Duschbereich (jedoch ohne Vorhang) läd zum entspannten Duschen ein. Durch drei ab Bodenhöhe beginnende Fenster, welche jederzeit mit einem Vorhang blickundurchlässig verschlossen werden können, ist das gesamte Zimmer (plus Badezimmer) sehr hell, gut ausgeleuchtet und wirkt absolut einladend, freundlich, wohlwollend und gemütlich. Die Wohnungstür ist leider relativ hellhörig und die Sicherheitstür in das Gebäude, welche direkt vor der Zimmereingangstür ist, ist wirklich nicht einfach leise zu schliessen. Das heisst, das ab gewissen Uhrzeiten schon mitbekommen wird wenn die Gäste im Zimmer gegenüber das Hotel verlassen/oder betreten. Der Smart-TV welcher an der Wand hängt, liefert einem, nach einem schönen Tag in Italiens Alpenbergen, nicht nur ein gutes, scharfes Bild, sondern macht es einem auch noch möglich neben normalen Fernsehprogrammen die gängigen Streamingplattformen wie Amazon Prime Video, Netflix und Youtube zu geniessen. Das Bett bzw. die Schlafcouch haben eine angenehm feste Mattratze und ermöglichten mir einen erholsamen Schlaf. Da das Café direkt nebenan auch morgens geöffnet hat, lässt es sich direkt mit einem italienischen Kaffee in den Tag starten.
