It was a very basic clean room at a very fair price, and it suited our purpose while visiting family and attending a multi-class reunion in Otego/Oneonta perfectly.

Many years ago Motel 88 (once known as the Oasis) was one of Oneonta's best, complete with a popular night club. The night club is long gone and the rooms seem to reflect the 1960s and 70s in decor and fixtures. Still, I found it clean and quiet. The parking lot is very spacious, and the tv channel selection is vast. A nice restaurant is across the street. Yes, it's dated. The office is also not staffed through the night, and keycards are to be dropped off in a locked mailbox before guests depart. Given Oneonta's exorbitant room rates, it is a bargain. I booked myself in by a careless mistake, but I'd gladly stay there again since I never spend much time in my room while I travel.

Had a few small issues with the room on check-in (refrigerator not working, smoke detector battery low, tv not working) but they were fixed immediately upon being brought to the attention of staff. In addition, circumstances beyond our control meant we had to stay an extra night and the front desk staff was extremely friendly, understanding, and got us setup for the extra night without having to change rooms. Would recommend this Motel to anyone on a budget that needs a place to stay in Oneonta.

Bathtub in need of repair and cleaning. Remaining bathroom was clean. Bedding was clean, beds were ok Large parking area Good for our one night stopover, would stay again if in that area.

This place was awesome, super clean, friendly staff best price around per night and only 4 min away from Cooperstown ASV. May not look the best on the outside but a great place to stay overall. Highly recommended.

One night stay

Simple but clean room. Refrigerator was a nice plus. Good location if you are going to Cooperstown All Star Village. Good for one quick night on your way to your next location.
