8.2/10 Very Good! (1,004 reviews)
Conveniently located, just a block away from the train station. Very walkable area.
Generally speaking, not in the 'best' area of Frankfurt but I never felt unsafe.
The hotel itself, is in an older historical building, which I loved.
Very high ceilings, and lots of airy space. Oversized space in general.
The room was very spacious, and the Queen size bed was as comfy, as a harder than usual bed can be. After travelling through Germany, the hard bed seems to be the norm, so I wouldn't call it a hotel issue.
The room didn't have air conditioning, but the windows opened right up which gave a nice cross breeze later in the evening. Even with the warmer than average temps' I was never uncomfortably hot.
The mini fridge in the room came in handy.
Larger than average bathroom, with a larger than average tub - perfect for soaking in after a day on your feet.
The room was dusty; lamp + lampshades, and the one light on the desk didn't work.
When I opened the tall bureau, dust bunnies came floating out.
The young lady at the front desk was extremely sweet. She was easy to talk to, and answered many of my questions about the area, and Germany in general. I really enjoyed my small chats with her. She also expressed how she really enjoyed working at the hotel, which made me feel even better about staying there.
I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone - it's quiet and calm, and a great place to land after a busy day.
