The lady that checked me in was a bit rude on the phone when I told her I was on my way but when I met her in person she appeared pleasant. Nice tiled flooring nice tile in the bathroom, however cleanleness was non existent... the shower curtain had brown splatter stains on it the towels had stains and looked dirty, the floors had dirt on them and behind the bathroom door looked like it it had never been cleaned. The toilet seat had dried urine on it and undermeath the seat was covered it poop splatter... The room smelt awful as well. A little more attention to detail when cleaned would go a long way! Wiping down surfaces like the dressers, night stand, bathroom vanity and even light switches. The room was super clean, but there is no getting around the fact that it is an old hotel. Staff was super friendly at check-in. Long term residence, which usually means run-down, but overall, fairly quiet. The shower had a little trouble draining when we arrived, but hubby was able to fix it...hair was blocking it. No Thinset between the tiles on the shower curb. Ice machine was apparently broken...seems like an easy fix, so a little disappointing, but it happens.
