Spacious 6BR Family Retreat w/ Private Pool and Spa in Resort Community!
- This 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom, pool home is located in the Solterra Resort in Davenport, Florida. The moment you step into the foyer you will feel right at home. On the first floor you'll find a King bedroom with a TV and full bath just off the hallway. The eat-in kitchen is a cook's dream with plenty of counter space, a huge island that seats four and fully stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes and more. The beautiful all wood dining table seats 10 comfortably. The family room has two full sized couches with a wall mounted 4K TV with surround sound. You won't be able to get your kids out of the first floor kids play room that includes chalk walls, play kitchen and coloring mats. And, not that you want to, but the extra large washer and dryer will help with keeping your clothes clean. Included: fragrance free laundry detergent & dryer sheets. There is a "secret" Harry Potter room located just behind the kitchen. Let's see if you kids can find it. Upstairs you'll find a retro movie loft room with 4K TV and surround sound. There are 2 king master suites located upstairs with beautiful private bathrooms and TV's. There is also a Queen bedroom with TV and access to the hall full bathroom. The kids rooms are simply awesome. The Star Wars themed boys room has a twin over full bunk bed clubhouse and tee pee. The baseball and flowers themed girls room has a twin over full bunk bed clubhouse. The kids share a full sized hall bathroom. Outside there is a screened in pool with hot tub. If you prefer to eat outside there is a beautiful all weather wicker table that seats 8. And four lounge chairs for you to work on your tan. Included is a large CLEAN propane grill. The pool and spa heat is also included in your rental.
The gated Solterra Resort has a clubhouse that includes a full gym (treadmill, elliptical, weight machines) but let's be serious, you are on vacation. There is also a small playground, resort style pool with water-slide and a hot tub. Grab a tube and float down the lazy river. There are tennis courts and a soccer (football) field as well. Then, relax and get a bite to eat and drink at Cafe Sol Bar & Grill poolside.

This home is incredible, spacious and clean. Nicely appointed and well stocked with home amenities. I can’t say enough about the host she was wonderful very patient and kind her timely response to questions and concerns was beyond my expectations. I will definitely stay here again.

A fantastic home from home. Everything is as it says in the details. Very clean. We were 7 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own bathroom and space. Would definitely use again.Only one small suggestion, a full length mirror would be useful somewhere on the upstairs landing so everyone could use it.

We stayed at this amazing house for a week while we were on vacation. The house was super clean and was super spacious for our entire family of seven. I truly appreciated all the communication and quickness to reply to any questions or concerns that we had we absolutely plan on returning in the future.

Family Stay At The Sunshine House
Great house, great host. Plenty of room for 7 Adults and two toddlers to spread out. The resort amenities were way to get to. Resort pool was amazing. Loved our time here.

What a great property, this is all that we needed for a getaway with our 5 and 8 year old. Plenty of space, great access to the on-site resort, and a quiet respectable community.

Loved our stay at this location. It had everything we needed, plenty of room and close to parks. Veronica was very responsive and made everything easy. I would highly recommend this property.

The sunshine house was absolutely amazing!! Location, accommodations, amenities just to name a few. The host is very responsive and super easy to work with. Our family is already booking our next stay here! I highly recommend Solterra resort and using vrbo to book!

It was great to have a heated pool and hot tub when the outdoor temps were not great. Loved having private spaces for each couple and kids. Well-equipped kitchen and lots of towels. Veronica answered promptly when we needed access to the garage. There is a double stroller if needed (we could have left ours home!). The check in process for the entrance was long due to overwhelming popularity on a Saturday of the holiday week. 30 minutes to Disney when traffic is light.

Harry Potter and kids theme rooms were great. The house was plenty big and decently stocked. The sliding door didn't lock so we had to wedge a stick on the track while we slept. Also the Vrbo listing stated a heated pool and hot tub but the emailed instructions we got a just before the trip said there was an extra 250 fee for that and it had to be requested in advance. The host said that there was no fee and the instructions should have told us how to turn the heater on, but that wasn't the case. So we didn't get to use the pool or hot tub all week because it was cold. Lastly the Vrbo list spoke to the club house and fitness center but when the checkin instructions came it spoke of an additional fee for that too. Seemed to be a lot of changes after the booking. Besides those issues, and it taking a very long time for the shower water to heat up, the house was good for us.

Not too close - not too far!
Amazing property from the resort amenities to the house amenities. The distance was the perfect travel to Orlando, cocoa beach, and even Clearwater. The owner was helpful and responsive. Our next family vacation we will be booking with them again!

Fun for the whole family!
Close to all of the theme parks and adjacent to a wonderful community facility with pool, water slide, lazy river, tiki bar and activities this a a great family place to stay in Central Florida!
Our 3 generation family of 9 was extremely comfortable and enjoyed the pool, theatre, play room and all of the other amenities this 6 bedroom 6 bathroom home has to offer!

What a great house! The 3 King suites were perfect! The number of bathrooms was really helpful. The kitchen was well-equipped. The screened in pool was perfect. We would definitely come back to this house.

The home was exceptionally clean throughout, the rooms were accommodating and well stocked. The the pool and hot tub was well- heated.The owner was attentive and available through our 9-day stay. Our family enjoyed every inch of the house. The children loved the designated play room, pool area and entertainment center. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a vacation place.The resort location was great. If we had available vacation days, we would have definitely extended our stay. Great Experience
We had a great time! The house was perfect for our group of 11. Our host was always a text away and very hospitable. Since the main pool was so crowded due to the holiday week, we hung out on the back porch in the private pool and hot tub. I highly recommend the sunshine house for a no worries getaway!

If you are looking for a beautiful home with a kid friendly atmosphere. This is it ! The host was prompt to help with questions and the home was extremely kid friendly.We had 4 kids under 7 and they loved it.We hope to book it again!

This house is perfect. You can’t go wrong with it. Plenty of space and the upstairs is massive. The place is extremely clean and they include a lot of things most places don’t like detergent.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house! Everything is very nicely set up. The kitchen has almost everything you could think of, the bedrooms are very comfortable, and there are endless bathrooms. There are multiple places for gathering in a group -- a living room, a dining room with a large table, an outdoor table, and a home theater upstairs. There is even a small playroom, which my 6-year-old nephew gives his stamp of approval. Entering the resort is easy, the house is simple to navigate to, and we had no issues receiving deliveries from DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Instacart. There are several grocery stores nearby. The host is very attentive and quickly addressed the minor issue that arose during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a very comfortable space for their Orlando trip.
